The Institute of Manual and Manipulative Therapy aims to be the premier provider of dry needling clinical education. Each of our courses are taught by certified practitioners who are experts in their field, guiding each participant toward mastery that they can take into their own practices.
Cert. ADN / Program Curriculum
The Certification in Anatomical Dry Needling (Cert. ADN) credential designates the recipient as a specialist in performing safe, effective dry needling for the entire neuromusculoskeletal system. IMMT’s emphasis is on treating neuromusculoskeletal conditions using any treatment paradigm (including acupuncture trials) to the relevant anatomy affected. However, course participants will not be taught how to practice Oriental Medicine in any capacity. Candidates for the credential must successfully complete the following curriculum. The courses can be completed in any order.
ADN: Upper Half – Anatomical Dry Needling for the Craniocervical, Upper Extremity, and Upper Thorax Systems
ADN: Lower Half – Anatomical Dry Needling for the Lower Thorax, Abdominopelvic, and Lower Extremity Systems
Each class has comprehensive written and practical testing to attain certification. As such, the course textbooks should be studied thoroughly before coming to the weekend seminar.
